Using VIAVI MPOLx test set, technicians can measure MPO fiber length, MPO wavelength and optical loss; and they check MPO connector polarity, inspect fiber end faces and create network certification reports easily. The MPOLx MPO fiber test set consists of MPOLS-84 and MPOLS-85 light source devices and MPOLP-85 light signal power meter.
MPOLx SmartClass Test set provides Tier 1 (Basic) fiber certification and color coded pass/fail test results for each fiber in the MPO connection. Both MPOLx test devices (MPOLS-85P light source and MPOLP-85P power meter) have a 3.5” color touch screen and can give test results of all 12 MPO fibers in 6 seconds.
